When an IVLP group comes to Northwest Florida, we don’t just host them; we also provide them with a unique experience. We connect them with the people and places shaping America’s future.
In July 2025, Gulf Coast Diplomacy welcomed eleven participants from North Africa and the Middle East for a six-day International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) project focused on leadership, service, and civic engagement. The project was coordinated nationally by the Institute of International Education.
Our intern Clare Reilly, a proud alumna of the Youth Diplomats program, served as facilitator for the group. Two current Youth Diplomats shadowed Clare during professional appointments, gaining invaluable experience in leadership and citizen diplomacy.

Why It Matters
For Our Community

For Our Nation
This IVLP project advanced the shared values of leadership, service, and civic responsibility.
