International Speaker Series
Global Perspectives, Local Context
The International Speaker Series offers public programs that explore global topics through discussion, expert insight, and moderated conversation. Speakers and panels address issues of international relevance by examining how global trends and developments are experienced and understood at the local level.
Topics have included diplomacy, international cooperation, trade, disaster preparedness, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Each event is designed to encourage learning, dialogue, and thoughtful exchange among participants in Northwest Florida.
By connecting international perspectives with local context, the series provides opportunities for students, professionals, and community members to engage with global issues through education and discussion, without requiring specialized background or prior experience.
