Adventure is calling!
Camp Global: Dakhla!
Are you a teen interested in other cultures and making a positive change in your community? If so, we want you for our special fall edition of Camp Global 2024!
Gulf Coast Diplomacy is partnering with a U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) alumna and her students from Dakhla, Morocco, to offer virtual exchange opportunities for U.S. teens!
At this virtual camp, you will meet teens from diverse cultural backgrounds, interact in an intercultural setting, and explore aspects of your cultures together.
The exchange will take place over five Saturdays (November 9th – December 7th) and your commitment is approximately 90 minutes on Zoom per day (10:30 AM – 12:00 PM Central).
This program will equip participants with the skills necessary to grow as leaders in their local communities, including in their schools, organizations, and towns, while building international friendships.
Participants can also earn a digital credential with the Open Badges Standard if they attend three out of five sessions, which is great for student resumes.
We look forward to an enriching intercultural experience and hope you join us for this year’s adventure!
There is no cost to participate. Students from countries other than Morocco and the U.S. are welcome to apply.
