Benefits of Membership

As a member, you gain opportunities to connect, learn, and participate in educational exchange activities that support Gulf Coast Diplomacy’s mission in Northwest Florida.

Membership opportunities include:

Members may also engage more deeply with Gulf Coast Diplomacy’s programming through a variety of activities. These include sharing a meal with international visitors through structured hospitality programs, participating in Great Decisions discussions on global issues, attending Exchange Cafés for informal conversation, and hearing international perspectives through our International Speaker Series. For those interested in hands-on involvement, weekend volunteer activities offer additional ways to support educational exchange in the community.

Membership helps sustain international exchange in our community but does not include participation in specific visitor itineraries, which are determined by program guidelines and project needs. Visitor itineraries are developed in accordance with guidance from the U.S. Department of State and program partners.

Membership offers opportunities to participate in citizen diplomacy through educational and cultural exchange.

 INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP

$60 – $80 for individuals, $110 – 150 for families

  • Invitations to Gulf Coast Diplomacy–hosted events

  • Email newsletters and organizational updates

  • Opportunities to participate in home-hosted dinners with international visitors as part of structured exchange programming

$250 +

In addition to the benefits of the attaché level, ambassador level members receive:

  • Invitations to small, hosted events that support exchange programming and community engagement
  • Access to publicly available information and resources related to exchange programs and alumni networks
  • Eligibility for discounts or benefits offered by partner organizations, such as reduced rates at participating hotels, subject to availability and partner terms

Partner benefits are offered independently and are not associated with U.S. Department of State–sponsored exchange programs.

From home-hosted dinners to member-only events, membership provides opportunities to participate in citizen diplomacy through community-based exchange.

Gulf Coast Diplomacy offers two individual membership levels, ranging from $60 to $250+ annually. Membership benefits include opportunities to host international visitors for home-hosted dinners as part of structured exchange programming, access to organizational newsletters, and invitations to member-only events. Members may also receive discounts or benefits offered by partner organizations, such as a reduced rate at the Mutiny Hotel in Miami. These partner benefits are provided independently and are not associated with federally sponsored exchange programs.

Joining is straightforward. Membership dues may be paid through Zeffy or by using the other payment options listed on the membership application.

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership provides organizations with opportunities to support citizen diplomacy and participate in community-based international exchange.

Gulf Coast Diplomacy offers two corporate membership levels, ranging from $500 to $1,000+ annually. Corporate members may receive recognition and participation opportunities that acknowledge their support of educational exchange, including:

  • Organization name and logo listed on the Gulf Coast Diplomacy website

  • Acknowledgment in organizational email communications

  • Opportunities to host or sponsor educational or hospitality events in support of exchange programming

  • Access to publicly available information and resources related to exchange programs and alumni networks

  • Organization information included in welcome materials provided to international visitors

All recognition and participation opportunities are offered in a manner consistent with U.S. Department of State exchange guidelines and do not confer preferential access or influence over exchange participants or alumni.
