Youth

We offer a variety of educational exchange experiences for high school students, both online and in person.

Are you a local student interested in exploring global topics year-round? Learn more about our Youth Diplomats program. Through monthly educational sessions, students engage in dialogue, build communication skills, and learn alongside peers while exploring international perspectives.

Interested in connecting online with students from the United States and other countries during the summer? Camp Global is a facilitated virtual exchange that brings teens together for learning, conversation, and shared activities.

Do you live in Northwest Florida and want to learn about opportunities to engage with international peers through educational exchanges sponsored by the U.S. Department of State? Programs such as IYLEP and Youth Ambassadors offer structured, merit-based exchange experiences for eligible students.

Did you know that in many countries, the term “youth” includes individuals in their twenties? University of West Florida students in that age group may be interested in the Ashley Hardaway Theriot Study Abroad Scholarship, which is offered annually to students from our region.
