Gabby Hultstrand combines her love of golf with service to children in her community. Through her partnership with First Tee Gulf Coast, she organizes putt-putt tournaments to raise funds for pillows at Sacred Heart Hospital’s pediatric center and to provide scholarships for youth interested in golf. Inspired by her own experience receiving a blanket while in the hospital and her 14 years in First Tee, Gabby has raised thousands of dollars to support both patients and new program participants.
Her motivation comes from gratitude for the support she once received. As Gabby explains, “As someone who was once on the receiving end of support from a stranger in the community, I wanted to spread the same love and support that I had received. I really appreciated the comfort I felt from the kind gesture, and I wanted to pay it forward in some way of my own.” Through her work, Gabby shows how a simple act of kindness can inspire lasting impact.
