Alicia Tappan is the founder and CEO of Survivor-Led Solutions. This company empowers the voices of human trafficking victims and survivors, focusing on “collaborating, uniting, and promoting anti-trafficking efforts locally and around the nation.” Alicia’s story is unique because she is a survivor herself. Her experience motivated her to serve others and give them the tools to develop leadership skills through Leadher Retreats, professional development initiatives, and her new book, Brave Girl Diaries. This book was released on July 31, 2025, and serves as a practical tool and survival guide for programs that support at-risk youth and recovering adults who have experienced abuse. Alicia’s mission is “provid[ing] dignity and credibility for survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking.” Her selfless commitment to this mission has positively shaped many lives in Northwest Florida and empowered survivors to become leaders in their communities.
