Lovingly known as ‘Miss Nancy’ around her community, Nancy Feliciano has spent her life helping others as a mother, military spouse, and community volunteer. “What comes back from volunteering is love from other people.” Her service work centers around her faith community at Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Nancy brings joy and warmth to every role she touches: from choir member and kitchen helper to Eucharistic minister and children’s liturgy leader. Her heart’s calling lies in the Parishioners-at-Home Ministry, where she faithfully delivers the Bread of Life to homebound members each week, sometimes driving over 50 miles to ensure people have the support they need. “It’s a way to give back to others in a beautiful way without asking for anything in return.” Not only does she do this consistently, she also does with a smile and happy heart. Nancy says that, “Volunteering can be a positive change, creating a better world for generations to come…There’s always a need to reach out to others. There is no better than to volunteer- helping others, making new friends, strengthening you ties to the community. Its fulfilling, rewarding, and a lot of fun!”
