Shruti Gupta has served as a volunteer at Manna Food Bank for over 10 years. She works diligently behind the scenes, inspecting donated food and filling bags, to ensure members of our community have access to the resources they need. “If people don’t donate…then we can’t serve the needy.” Manna relies on volunteers to help support their mission, and Shruti’s spirit and generosity have drawn others in to volunteer alongside her, including neighbors, family, and friends. She follows the example set by her parents’ service work, and her 85-year-old mother continues to join her at Manna to help address food insecurity in Northwest Florida. Volunteering is a way for Shruti to give back, meet new people, and make a difference. We are honored to highlight her work in our Faces of Service initiative and the positive impact she makes in Pensacola.
