About Mollie: Mollie Taylor received a B.S. in Marine Science and Biology from the University of Tampa and an M.S. in Ecology and Evolution from Florida State University, where her thesis focused on how nursery habitat quality for juvenile fishes in river dominated estuaries is affected by upstream and terrestrial nutrient sources. She is a Pensacola native and graduated from Booker T. Washington high school where she was a participant in what is now called the Marine Science Academy. Mollie Taylor has worked since 2013 as an environmental technician with the Escambia County Water Quality and Land Management Division, where she samples surface and ground water quality for ambient monitoring and permit compliance and assists with monitoring of the low impact design green roof and pervious parking lot at the County’s Central Office Complex.
