In mid May, six visitors from Japan visited the region as part of the International Visitor Leadership Program.
This group looked at the relationship between military bases and local communities through a series of appointments which included discussing military reporting with Tom Ninestine, Rob Johnson, and Marketta Davis at the Pensacola News Journal, a community coffee discussion with Pensacola Councilman Charles Bare, Donovan Chau, Carlee Hoffman, Edwin Howard, Charles Stauffer, Bruce Swain, Douglas Trelfa, and Santa Rosa County Commissioner Rob Williamson, and as a roundtable discussion at the Greater Pensacola Chamber of Commerce with Craig Dalton, Jeff DeWeese, Jimmy Donohoe, Doug Heady, and Patty Veal.
Discussion at all the appointments was lively and we thank everyone for their contribution!
