On May 26, 24 members of the Gulf Coast Citizen Diplomacy Council and their four guests gathered at the Artel Gallery for the group’s 2016 Annual Meeting.
Dr. Allan Ford and Keith Wilkins both received certificates of appreciation from the Office of International Visitors in the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State for the six years of service they each gave to the council on the board of directors. Member Jeanne van Reeth’s stellar hospitality in 2015 was also recognized by the same office with a certificate thanking her for her service to the International Visitor Leadership Program.
Rebecca Ferguson was welcomed to the board; and Karen Jurkowich, Tara Jones, and Ric Nickelsen accepted to serve on the board again as the chair, secretary, and treasurer.
