Looking for Host Families from July 20th to August 1st!

Host a student from Mexico this July!

We will host a group of high school students from Mexico this summer who will engage in a leadership and cultural exchange called “Jóvenes en Acción.” The program is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, the Mexican Government, and private sector companies from both countries.

We are looking for home stay families with teens to host the youth for their 12 day visit in the Pensacola & Gulf Breeze area.

This is a wonderful opportunity for your family learn about our southern neighbor’s culture and to share a little of your own culture and hospitality to the Mexican students.  These young leaders are eager to experience life in the U.S. during their program.  Past participants report that the most enriching part of their program is the home stay portion.  Families find it rewarding and are also invited to enjoy program celebrations and other fun activities.  American teens whose families host can join activities as well and even earn service hours! Contact us to learn more about the opportunities and responsibilities of being a host family!

About the Participants

The participants are high school students, ages 15-17, both male and female. They were selected out of a competitive pool of students and come from every region of the country based on their leadership potential, involvement in their communities, and interest in cultural exchange.  All participants speak English.
